During breaks in use, an automatic parking shoe ensures reliable protection for planer knives, the workpiece and the user. What other manufacturers have to buy as accessories is part of the basic equipment of the PPLS 10-800. A rebate depth and a parallel stop are already included in the standard scope of delivery of the power tool and enable you to carry out even demanding planing work with a high level of accuracy. Rebate depths can be preset with the PPLS 10-800 up to 11 mm depth and the width of the planing track can be reduced to the desired dimension via the parallel stop. At the same time, a parallel stop supports precise guidance of the planer along the workpiece with high work progress with a maximum planing width of 82 mm.

Its symmetrical design makes the PPLS 10-800 electric planer equally easy to use for right-handers and left-handers. The knob on the front combines a handle for two-handed guidance and a cutting depth adjuster in a practice-optimized solution with notched cutting depth adjustment and an easy-to-read depth scale. The cutting depth can be variably adjusted from 0 to 2.5 mm in fine steps of 0.1 mm.

With an ideal center of gravity and integrated soft grip inserts in the guide handle, the pleasantly compact PPLS 10-800 is recommended for professional continuous use with the highest work ergonomics. Even during long periods of work, the tool is non-slip and has a secure grip, ensures a secure hold for vibration-dampened planing work at all times and can be guided precisely using its solid aluminum base plates. The front footplate has three V-grooves of different sizes, so precise beveling is always easy.

Two high-quality reversible carbide knives with double the service life are installed on the large planer shaft of the PPLS 10-800 for evenly flat work results. When worn, you can simply turn the knives over and continue working with the back edge before they need to be replaced.
